Security at AT&T Park Take Their Fight to the Supreme Court
Security at AT&T are fighting to get paid at the end of every season rather than through regular pay periods throughout the year. They argue that the end of the season is similar to a termination because they will not be working again until the following season, and therefore they deserve to be paid in full at that time. The Giants argue that these seasonal employees should be paid just like regular employees.
The issue has gone all the way to the Supreme Court and will be decided in the second half of 2018. You can read more about the case at the California Supreme Court website.
