Janitors to Make Major Announcement About Strike

SILICON VALLEY – Janitors will make a major announcement about the strike at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the union offices in San Jose.
More than 1,000 janitors are currently out on a strike that started last Tuesday, May 20 in the Silicon Valley and spread throughout the Bay Area. The strike is now affecting high-tech corporate giants such as Cisco Systems, Yahoo, Oracle, Intel as well as Stanford University, UC Berkeley and dozens of commercial real estate properties throughout the Silicon Valley and the Bay Area.
